for me, prepping is working out some sounds, agreeing tempos and keys and a rough structure, the rest is then improvised, but you know that anyway

As much as I wanted to make this one. I've got no chance, can't leave here until 2.30 on the Saturday & I couldn't find anywhere within walking distance to stay the night. It's certainly more geared up for motorists, which I'm still not.

If you realy want to go, you wouldnt need to walk to the HI express afterwards, myself or someone would drop you off, that aint a problem, even pick you up from Burton station if you were coming by train. Not sure how you would get from home to Burton though, but 2;30 pm til 7;00pm gives you 4 and a half hours to get there and you'd have Sunday to get home

Where's a good place to stop over then, but with the trains round here, I'll be cutting it fine even with 5 hours (even though it only takes about 2 in a car)
Still up for it though.

Holiday Inn express is just round the corner from the venue (Xan & Paul are both staying there i think). And there are quite a few places in Burton itself. I'm certain lifts can be arranged, it really is only 5 mins in a car from the centre of town.

its only a 15 min walk on the sunday morning back into town to catch your train home, or someone who is stopping there may give you a lift.

The train gets in at 19.36, means I've probably missed the first act.
Don't know where I'm going from there either, so it's probably a cab job, on top of the £50 return fare & the price of the room as well, for effectively two acts.
I'll have to wait until I can drive, train journey just over 5 hours, on 4 trains in total. It's easier & quicker from London, which is much further away.

Always interested to see which film Norman's going to use next. Next time he'll be using the full uncut version of "Caligula". Might pack in a few more punters.
