It doesn't look like he can get to Burton from Driffield in time Paul. I've looked into it from every possible angle & it's a no go. I'd probably get to the venue for about 7.30 IF trains run on time, don't get cancelled (which seems to happen a lot around here for some reason) I missed a gig last week because I found that the train was going to be over an hour later than it should've been, so I miss the connecting train which meant I wouldn't get there till the encore. so I turned around & got back on the train I came into Hull on & went back home. Just hope I'm driving by October.

Always interested to see which film Norman's going to use next. Next time he'll be using the full uncut version of "Caligula". Might pack in a few more punters. Or ''Confessions of an electronic musician'' or ''Deep throat''. ;D

What a disaster of a journey back, typical whenever I venture up north they close the roads and as Phil said no sodding diversion signs. It was funny to see cars stuck on the roundabout not knowing what to do so I just followed my nose. Unfortunately I didn't have my satnav with me but I did have a map which without my reading glasses was just a blur. Eventually after mile upon mile found a sign to Leicester M1, went thru numerous villages which all sounded the same Ogglesbogglesworththorpe up north names. 10 miles to Leicester up comes another sign "DIVERSION" no access to M1 at wherever it joined. So followed that diversion for an eternity and guess what went thru numerous villages called Ogglesbogglesworththorpe up north village names. After I guess 15 miles the diversion sign looks like it leads back on itself - I could see the road I wanted as I was on the bridge, Fook that I just moved the cones on the junction and got on the road which surprisingly led me to Junction 22 of the M1- It was painful truly painful ! Anyway back to the evenings entertainment. Really enjoyed Grey Encounter, I think Phil and Xan work really well together, Phil remember to leave a few breaks in those Kistenmacher neverending solos. Jez and Norman again enjoyable, I preferred the second half slightly more. Then onto Air Sculpture which I can only describe as UTTER TOSH. I was seriously contemplating lighting a cigarette and sticking it in my eye. It was boring repetitive noisy rubbish with nothing to redeem itself at all, no tell a lie the best bits were when they finished the main set and then the encore.
