From the website: CLOUD MAPPING? Posted: 30.04.2007 Hashtronaut starts tentative steps toward a new release.
Hashtronaut has begun preparation work on a new piece 'Cloud Maps'. This is the first piece that has come from the new studio that has been mooted for any type of official release. 'This is probably going to be a full length piece, some heavy driving sequencing, and some guitar, although there's always a slight dither over whether that stays on' he says. 'Also, this is going to be a free release, much in the same vein that the Nexus Cd from way back is now a free download on the site. This time around, its probably going to be available via an external site, like Archive.org or something similar. This way the bandwidth wont get clogged up here on the main site, and its easier for people to leave their thoughts. I am very excited to be in the frame of mind where I am capable of producing music again, after the utter stress of 2006.' Could this be the first rumbles of the mothership engines engaging in a launch sequence?

I'd be happy to handle the cd version if people ask you for that

this is a download only feebie John - it will be on the website or Archive.org for anyone who wants it when it ready. (sorting pads and fx this week) its just nice to be doing it again, so i thought i would share it with everyone when its finished, a kind of 'its nice to be back' gesture.
I will be keeping you in mind for a future release though, i am flattered at the interest.

Would be nice if you could get something up by Friday, so I can listen to it whilst I'm on holiday, but no pressure

i am flattered at the interest. You're wasting valuable time - get it posted mate! Im in the vault tomorrow - will be trying to get my pads on then. Hopefully, everything will be done in one pass, im trying to get a live feel, as the sequencing was a one pass deal, im gonna try and get the pad down in the same manner, and then the FX. It never works that way ;D, but you gotta try.
