first review as I found on the Groove website:
Kaleidoscopic Surrealism is as it sounds. Electronic music full of surprises but yet still so familiar for most of us. Excellent melodies and harmonies craftly woven with the force of sequencers. As it is recorded back in 2000 and 2003, the tracks like "Confessions of a Colormachine" and "Playground Mystique" have much similarities with Rene's debut release "Pro Sequentia" and bits of its follow up "Alchemia". The composer is inspired by the big names in the field, but also remains his personal style without copying. I think this release should be in every record collection of those who appreciate electronic and progressive rock music. Even the ambient tracks are not boring of sleep-generating. Is this guy the Dutch Salvador Dali of sound? For me he is.
2007. Jelle / The Netherlands
