Noisy, unsettling, and then the 3rd track kicks with beauty out of the blue. A real contrast. Tracks 1 & 2 are difficult listens, you're gonna have to be in the mood, but the 3rd track is gonna get some air space. I have only had a chance to listen to the first two tracks, but sounds good so far.

Another excellent evening of entertainment. All 3 acts played excellent sets. All deserved respect for not sitting on their laurels and developing their sound further.
Ian Boddy sounded completely different from the last time I saw him, and whilst I am not sure it worked totally in certain sections, 10 out of 10 for turning up and doing something different. (Saying that, I suspect when I listen to the VT, the whole set will grow on me, and I will love it).

Another excellent night. Wall to wall quality.
Jez's set was excellent, some lovely sounds in there. 10 out of 10.
Parallel Sun, well we know what to expect, and they were excellent too. Very subtle, very nicely done. My wife enjoyed them the most out of all the sets. 10 out of 10.
Paul Nagle, was even better. Really enjoyed it. Interesting range of sounds, well put together, 11 out of 10.
I thought the improv would be a car crash, but it actually worked well.
Looking forward to the VT to listen again, and again, and again.....

It was another enjoyable night.
I enjoyed Nick's set, and look forward to the VT because it may sound even better as you get into it.
Second Thought was brilliant, just my cup of tea, loved it. Will probably wear the VT out.

My copy of Live Science has getting a bit of a bashing recently. Really hits the spot.

Occasionally I ask myself why I make the considerable effort to attend all the awakenings concerts, when I could just buy the VT.
Last night reminded me why I do it. To see three bands at the top of their game live is just remarkable.
Was it the best awakenings I have seen yet? Well I have seen some pretty remarkable ones so far, but this must be near the top, if not the top.
My thanks go to all who played and organised the event. It really is much appreciated.

Definately mellow, pretty laid back. Like it.

Not sure about dark, but very good.
Drifted in and out nicely, with a few interesting sounds cropping up unexpectedly.
Definitely could listen to this live, though be best with visuals.

another nice journey Jez, frozen wastelands with warm moments and the images that were being shown by windows media player fit the sounds and feel of the hour perfectly. I nearly got one of those Thingymagoop's to play with it went for 35 quid the other night on Ebay Yes, had a listen this morning. Another good one. Thanks Jez ;D (Jez, if you don't mind, I might give a couple of the later AIS sets to Steve as I think he may really like them).

I have listened to most of the first track and enjoyed it. Nice smooth sound, lapping around you, then about 30 mins in a light sequence takes over. Calming, relaxing stuff. Well worth a listen. You can hear Jez in it, but also other styles. Now listened to track 2. Again very enjoyable. can definitely hear the new jez in there, plus the other different but complimentary styles. Recommended listening.

Downloaded and listened to, (granted whilst I was working, so perhaps not the most attentive listen).
Again, very enjoyable. Very relaxing series of sounds washing over you.
Thanks Jez for sharing.
