The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster was a series of equipment failures, nuclear meltdowns and releases of radioactive materials at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, following the TÅhoku earthquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011. It is the largest nuclear disaster since the Chernobyl disaster of 1986 and only the second disaster (along with Chernobyl) to measure Level 7 on the International Nuclear Event Scale. Fukushima Drones is a compilation of drone tracks contributed by artists from around the world. This community project is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support efforts coping with the Fukushima Diaichi nuclear disaster.
This is a living project that we will be adding tracks to on an ongoing basis as they are submitted. Everyone is welcome to participate. There is no deadline, or restrictions on drone style. Tracks must be unreleased and created for this project. One track per artist please, except for collaborations. Files must be submitted in aiff, flac, or wav file format not to exceed 600 MB.
