Just wonderful to read such positive feedback I didn't really expect anything else. Well done to the musicians and a huge thanks to Jez for his hard work. Looking forward to next year.

Well I also echo everybodies comments previously, a great day. I had been looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. Had a nice chat with Paul Nagle, what a nice guy, and funny as well. I would also like to add what a good idea it was to have a programme, and if it is viable for the school to do it they should be available at all future Awakenings. Also a big thank you to the ladies for giving up their Saturday afternoon to serve a lot of fu.cking EM weirdos with a good choice of hot food. Well done everyone

Oj and me had a cracking time it was great to see so many diverse bands some new to us, all off them delivered the goods. Fantastic to get the chance to catch up with lot's of folks during the day it made a big difference having all day even if it was a nightmare to hold together for Jez. I would just like to echo what a lot of folks where saying last night Jez, Dave and Phil the tireless enthusiasm and energy that you put into running and organising these are truly appreciated. Personally I think the EM scene as a whole owes you all a great debt.

And now I have to wade thru the 500+ photos and get rid of the sh.ite ones. I do wish people would keep still...

Had a great time yesterday (well we both did). Thanks Jez, Phil and Dave B for doing a fantastic job. It seemed to run very smoothly and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Fabulous music and great company, what more could you ask for. The food the ladies in the canteen served was very tasty, too.

Thanks Andy, I think we are the EM scene now! And now everyman and his dog wants to play You'd have to see that as a compliment really, but in reality everyone wants to be a part of a success story but generally only a handful contribute to making it a success, like I have said numerous times in the past, support the venue that gives you your gigs, its been like that since time began:-)

In adding to that though, I would have to say that I am very lucky to live so close and probably wouldnt have the opportunity to support a venue as often as I do this one, if it was a lot further away, and my hat is off to the likes of Norman and all the other regular visitors that have to travel for hours to get there8-)

Yesterday was a true triumph for everyone involved, but especially for Jez. I take my proverbial hat off to you sir. Speaking as someone who only attends as a listener as opposed to a performer Awakenings has gone from strength to strength since it moved to Paget High School. The wide variety of styles played, even within a single event, ensures that there is always new artists and music to be discovered ( and bought!).
I do hope that there is a full program again in 2013 as without Awakenings there'll literally be no regular gigs for us EM weirdos to descend upon.
A great day yesterday and a great year all round. All hail Awakenings and all those involved in its organisation. Thank you from a grateful punter
