We just got home. I made Jennifer carry all of the equipment in a cart all the way up the A1. How are the poorly dogs doing Dave?

If anyone wants a copy of First Light who didn't get one on Sat, give either me or Steve a shout and we'll sort out a copy for you.

Dodie is slowly mending but delivered up a titanic Technicolor yawn yesterday morning that obviously means she's not over the worst of it. We suspect it's the local cat population who have been spotted pooping in our garden a lot lately. Reo is still down for the count and the prognosis is not good. She's comfortable and happy but it's just a matter of time now.

Yes, that's Reo. Fast asleep next to me right now but with her eyes wide open. Slightly unnerving.
I've been sleeping on the couch (more or less) for the last five weeks, feeding her during the night and giving her medicine to calm her down every three or four hours. She has angina-line attacks very couple of days and needs changing three times a day.
We could so easily give her an injection but that doesn't seem at all fair. She's been a good dog and deserves a decent end.

Our very best wishes and hope she makes a recovery.

I got mine earlier tonight. So far, I've listened to Magnetron and Nattefrost but not Ion (yet). FANTASTIC stuff! Steve and Xan, if you're reading this, I left some positive remarks on Magnetron's Facebook page about your gig. I really enjoyed it but rather than repeat my raving here, I'll let you guys check out my raving on Facebook. I really enjoyed Nattefrost as well. A bit more 'commercial' sounding and a bit more 'synth-pop' than I was expecting but still, I liked it. I could hear quite a bit of Kraftwerk influences in Bjorn's music and found it to be quite catchy. Now, I just need to check out Ion. I'll do that tomorrow because it's bedtime now. Great job to all. Thanks for the VT, Jez. It's the next best thing to actually being there.
