Fingers crossed for good weather. Knock 'em dead with a 40 minute sequencer tour de force. the odds for good weather are not in my favour However, have started putting together stuff for this and have set up my rig for the gig, which will contain: Nord Modular Nord Modular G2 Prophet 600 XL-7 SP-404 P3 Drehbank MS6 VF-1 Xenyx 1002 A nice mix of analog and digital I'm currently aiming for something with sequences, melodic bits and some weird ambient/noise interludes, just for fun

please remeber that in a festival setting you may have 10 minutes for setup and no sound check

please remeber that in a festival setting you may have 10 minutes for setup and no sound check thats why ambient intros are always a good bet

Nice one Jez. Great exposure for you, you'll be doing Glastonbury next.
That's the sort of gig you want, with people who are unfamilar with the style of music. Hope it goes well.
Take some copies of the Neusonik comp and throw them into the crowd. ;D May generate interest.

just been practicing for the gig a week on Sunday Got the P3 sequencing stuff on the MS6 and the XL-7, synced up to the Nord Modular, which is doing synchronised fx and drones, hooked back through the drehbank to the XL-7 for synth, arpeggiator and tron parts and the G2 for other parts, with the SP-404 providing bridging sections. Have some extra sequence parts on the XL-7 and can also use that to play extra parts Have the drehbank controlling volume levels of all the XL-7 parts and also editing 4 MS6 parts at once. Not got room to set the P600 up so it will just be used for tweaked analog stuff as and when required All good fun, especially for such a compact set up May use it again for HJJ
