Jez should be home soon. We had a great time last night - and today a sunny, chilled (is that poss.? - you know what I mean) wander around Shrewsbury, stopping off for a luncheon, then back to C:21 to pack the gear up. Was a good night. Jez did a set of Berlin stylee music, it was really good. Couple of really superb passages, I hope the minidisk of it is good quality. Mooch was fun. As per usual at my events, the audience was half enthralled half horrified. Arf! Well, suffer for your art, I say. Sold some CD's and had a laugh though, and even got a free drink. Jez will hopefully concur with this! Amanda took some pix on his digicam, so he may well post them up. Cheers lads, Now off to promote the new CD like bl***y crazy! STEVE... I'm back and the car is unloaded, did the return journey in 90 minutes. Anyway the gig last night was great fun, even though I was late leaving I made good time and got to the venue just before Steve, got everything set up and sound checked by about 7:30. Nipped out for a quick curry for tea. Came back to find a few people in attendence, Steve kindly delayed the start of my set 'til about 9:30 when the place was pretty full. At last minute discovered that Steve only had one CDR to record his set so had to plug my MD in to record my set, as I was checking levels I discovered my MS6 wasn't triggering, which caused some fairly major nervousness at the thought of a set without sequences if it was broken. Luckily it was just a loose midi cable and easily rectified. Went on and had my 2nd techncal hitch when I went to play the VS and no sound came out, luckily that was because it was routed through the Giga Delay and I'd disconnected to save the battery. The sent went really well until I looked at Steve and he took this to be the signal for him to join in, which was a bit of a problem because I was still in the Em section and I told him he'd be joining in for the final Dm section, so I had a bit of a panic trying to smoothly bring one section to a close and move to the next, had a total memory failure and couldn't remeber which P3 bank was the Em sequences and got some rather weird, random sequence changes that were totally unplanned, but may have sounded alright to anyone who didn't know that wasn't supposed to be happening. Any way I found the right bank and Steve played along. My bitt kind of ran over as I lost all track of time. Afterwards I sold a couple of the new CD, Steve sold an Astrogator CD to Jo the promoter and I gave out a few free stickers with the website address on. Steve was up next and played a varied set, I accompanied him on the 2nd and 3rd tracks, mostly with synth burbles and a solo bits. We ran a bit late and the disco started up whilst Steve was in the middle of the penultimate track of his set, but we closed the doors and it wasn't too bad. Had a nice mooch round Shrewsbury today with Steve and made good time back. Now all I have to do is organise the return leg in Nottingham

Cheers, Jez! Not sure why Geocities has gone crap, I've not had a problem with them for 10+ years. Still, photobucket it is...
