Norway are 1 hour ahead of us and the flight is only an hour and 45 mins to airports such as EM, or Newcastle, leeds etc. so he will gain an hour on the way here. I bit different from when Terje came for Awakenings. Took him four days. And that was just loading the van! ;D

Well me back first once again, i think I need to move further away from Burton ;D Another very enjoyable night and I enjoyed all three sets, especially Mr T, very well done great music and graphics put together there. Had a little play myself which although I enjoyed I couldnt hear anything so i'll have a cringe at the VT when it comes, and thank you very much David and Julie for giving me the opportunity to (ruin a couple of your songs) have a go again and it was lovely to look out from the stage area and see people looking back Nice to meet a lot of new people including Glenn, Davids family and Paul and wife, glad you made it to this awakenings Paul and maybe now you can try and overcome that fear and venture out a little more often

Looking forward to the VT. Great thanks to Jez and everyone who is involved in these events, and thanks a lot for the VTs who enables people like me to follow whatever is happening. And I want to see some photos! Did Glenn really bring his laser harp? He couldnĀ“t have brought all that much gear on the plane.

he brought the following gear: korg r3, roland gaia, roland lucina and laser harp, with a little edirol mixer and backing on mp3 player, it all fitted in a suitcase, small keyboard bag and the laser harp came in its own small case, all in all a very compact little rig

I need to learn how to do that. Especially in light of the just humor on this list :-) Ah: re-reading your post, Jez: "backing on mp3". Right. I know that FSP have started doing that as well. It is probably the only feasibly way to go in this type of gear-driven music.

well, for the structured type of music he does pre-recorded backing makes most sense, though he did say he uses ableton sometimes so he can mess around with things live
