Ha ha Ben, yes I would very much like to become a Mod ESP veteran and will strive to get to his quality at some point in the future, as for modulars they would be no good for me, they are too big, too heavy and you need far too much knowledge to be able to use them correctly

I like that flight case thats got Paul Nagels Gear in, slanted at the bottom to hold a bigger bit of kit with less space used

Really enjoyed all three sets last night.
Xan and I both thought that Jez's set was the best we'd ever heard from him.
I missed seeing Parallel Sun last July as the gig took place on the day I went on holiday. Whilst I enjoyed that VT I thought last night's set was better. The two guys do sound different to almost anything else we hear at Awakeninigs.
I enjoyed Paul's set because it was inventive and innovative. It may be a little to dancey for some but it sounded good to me and I used to enjoy Binar and there were many similarities between what Paul did last night and Binar. The layering he managed to conjour up on the sequencer sounded stunning to me as a non muso.
All in all one of the most enjoyable Awakenings I've attended. Spent too much money on new CDs but what the heck.

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the kind words and encouragement I have had over the past two days. It is always great to play these gigs Jez you really have got it cracked mate and long my it be fun and worthwhile for you to keep them going. Thanks to every one who came along in person or by way of the VT hope you enjoyed what we did we had a laugh putting it together. It was one of those thing that took on a whole life of it's own and we just went with it, the plan was to do an ambient set. Jez did you get a recording of the jam? I forgot to press record on my way to the stage. That picture is OJ / Mark or Mark E Spark on facebook, he is not trying to be all mysterious he just wants to keep his work and music completely separate. Thanks again, Andy
