C'mon then Jez, how do you get all these gigs? Not sure really, sometimes I just ask people, other times they ask me. I am always on the lookout for gig opportunities though

and you get yourself out there in many ways - including the internet broadcasts.
Jez puts his time in, like the old days of gigging in pubs before getting noticed.

He is also the best at what he does, has some great gear and knows exactly how to use it and is adaptable to any situation that he can play in/at. He's prepared his craft over the last few years and is now enjoying that by getting out there and doing it.

I am always on the lookout for gig opportunities though And that is the difference between Jez and someone like for instance Andy Pickford. Jez puts the time and effort in plus also running Awakenings and the forum, where as Picko obviously can't be bothered to get off his ar.se and show the same enthusiasm and dedication. Karma for Jez.

I've said it before, this EM music scene is about being involved in a live situation either playing or watching, there are far too many out there that think they can just sit at home and multitrack record some music and then get everyone falling over themselves to buy it, everyman and his dog is doing it even those that are offering up free music but are not prepared to go out and support venues or play live will eventually get bypassed.

Would like to have gone to this if it wasn't so far away. It is a long way to go, but I'm sure it would be worth it. I can't afford it this year. David Wright I think lives in Bungay or near to it. Really enjoyed the AD Music Festival in Derby a few years ago but I don't think it was a success as only 100 went. That's the reason why the second one was cancelled. Shame as it was like the old days of the EMMA festivals and Guildhall gigs.

If you want to carry on with all that you are doing in music then i'd stay single because no woman would put up with that!
