Eli Kezler + Simon Burd + Modulator ESP Wednesday 6th April Eli Kezler A jaw dropping drummer that can make his kit (with the aid of some handy crotales) sound like the eerie creaking hull of a sunken ship before launching into bursts of scary intensity and insane feats of percussive WTF. The fact that his latest LP has been released on the legendary New York label ESP Disk whose roster includes Albert Ayler, Sun Ra and The Fugz should give you an idea of how amazing this chap is. www.myspace.com/elikeszlerSimon Burd Lo-fi hissing ambience from one half of the Burd/Scarr duo (I’ll let you guess which half). If you’ve ever been a fan of Disintegration Loops or Discreet Music then pull up a chair. Modulator ESP The Modulator makes landfall with tales of the outer realms. These will be decrypted via the medium of a cosmic synth barrage. Adjust your antennae accordingly. modulator-esp.co.uk/Wednesday 6th April 8:30pm doors The Chameleon 17 Angel Row Nottingham www.rammelclub.org/

For my set tonight I shall be improvising some dark noisy and possibly slightly uplifting sounds using micromoog, repeater, dr-202 and dd-20

Excellent, I'm sure all your efforts in both playing and promoting will eventually overcome the apathy that seems to surround this musical genre
