had great fun doing this last night, was a bit nervous about talking on air, and worried about doing an hour long set, but it all seemed to work out OK it didn't help that I was still frantically re-wiring the studio after a major re-shuffle and only found my mic lead with about 1/2 an hour to spare recording will be up in the next hour or so and is the live debut of my a100 modular

wow, didn't know you owned a Modular Jez How much did that cost? I bought the case and a few modules used a few months ago, then half the remaining modules at the endo of April, then the other half last week altogether it cost me about £1400, which would be one of the reasons why it has taken me so long to get round to getting one the other reason is it took me forever to decide what modules to get, to provide the sort of options I wanted and to fit in the case with no gaps, but after lots of consideration I decided on 2 x A110 standard osc 1 x A112 sampler/wavetable osc 1 x A105 ssm vcf 1 x A106 xtreme vcf 1 x A114 ring mod 1 x A131 vca 1 x A132 vca 2 x A138 mixer (a & b) 2 x A140 env 1 x A145 lfo 1 x A147 vclfo 1 x A148 dual s&h 1 x A174 joystick 2 x A180 multiple 1 x Z5000 vcfx processor it's kind of modelled on what you get with a Synthi/VCS3, with extra stuff, but without the patch matrix, as I wanted a self-contained, portable performance oriented modular I love it

Thanks for the recording, listening to it now. As for the syth, looks great, but equipment list might as well be in chinese for a non muso like me.

Listening now, very nice, did you present the whole of the show Jez and how long was it? or did you only introduce your own hour?

Listening now, very nice, did you present the whole of the show Jez and how long was it? or did you only introduce your own hour? I did the whole show The guy who normally does it was away from home, so I filled in for him. someone else I know does a 2 hour show from 10-12, I might be covering for him at the end of July Don't know how I'll mange two hours, one hour was quite hard work as it was all pretty much improvised then and there, all I had pre-prepared was the sequences and going on at 1am I was ready for bed before I started
