Likewise, I never actively disliked synth pop, I just was more into the rock/prog thing and they didn't really seem to go together. I think the only vaguely synth pop album I have is by Jane Child

not directly my style, but better than TD some nice sounds are used. a lot better than most 80 synth groups, Indeed similar to the first albums of Human League which I really liked. WELL DONE

It's only taken me about 20 years to appreciate The Human League, Yazoo, Erasure, Visage, Ultravox etc.....

tunes are well put together, and yes very eighties but I would liken them to "Fiction Factory or H20 etc. not the bands that are stated

We do have a few synth pop CDs lurking in our collections - we're not all moog and mellotrons you know. ;D I still like OMD's first album Nice tunes and a good production, Andy.
