I just hope the 25 copies will go to good homes and be appreciated. I'm currently pondering the best way to re-invest the income from the project and am considering: 1. an lcd projector 2. booking some gigs open to any ideas 4. Getting the beer in on saturday night ?? sorry, I meant to add 'serious'

Modulator ESP - Time Zero
Way to go Jez! Finally got my hands on this today (I get CD's etc sent to my parents as their postmen aren't as cerebrally challenged as the dozy pillocks here).
Well, I played it once and immediately hit the "Play" button again once it had finished - a good sign. All in all, a really enjoyable album from start to finish. Highlights so far for me are "Eos Flight" and also "Beyond The Sun" especially the patient way the sequencers are introduced into the track. "Time Zero" title track is aptly named as I just float off and lose all track of time in the process, it is a meandering epic with vast distances and moods being covered over the course of its thirty six and a half minutes.
Rather like the works of Ken Martin, this is an album that demands your total immersion to fully appreciate the nuances and depth. Mr Creek firmly has his finger on the celestial pulse with "Time Zero".

BTW hopefully no-one would object to me posting their comments on the main website

I'll be happy to expand on my review and post it on EMForum when it's back up and running again.

No problem, I'm more than happy to do it.
A while back I applied for a job as a reviewer for Groove (E-dition) and was accepted - which initially I was chuffed about. However, they are quite strict about content, how many stars you assign and also how you sign your reviews (I wasn't allowed to be known as "Endorphin") and so I politely turned them down.

I wander what you'd get in return for reviewing, would it be like a free subscription to the magazine/

Diddly, diddly, diddly, diddly diddly....... squit! No mention was made of any payment for doing it. To be honest I just love reviewing CD's and if it helps someone make an informed choice then that's payment enough for me. I just didn't like all the rules and regulations especially as it was voluntary. In the end I walked away because I enjoy a really good customer/supplier relationship with Groove and wouldn't want to change that.
