Steps to the Three Spires Pt 1

This is my latest offering to the world of EM, coming in at just under 17 minutes it is part 1 of a current project, the last minute or so being the start of part 2. I used my Korg R3, and Fender Precision lyte recorded into my Boss BR800 digital portastudio, various effects from the R3 and the BR800, mainly for the bass guitar parts. The Bass was used to control the R3 arpeggiator during the last minute which basically set me up for part 2. I have uploaded the WAV file so it may take a while to DL this, but the sound quality should be better when listening from your favourite desktop player, I wouldnt recommend listening to it via the player on this website as you may find it will keep buffering depending on your internet connection. The track started life as a bass guitar improv, recorded live with a VST I have been getting used to called FM8, I then added some more parts and this is the final result. All overdubs were played live and in real time, and as with all my tracks, no loops or computer sequencers were used in the making of this track.
