So do I Seems a bit odd selling stuff to friends though Thses guys are the best in offering support and also at buying a Cdr with tracks which were free to download! I know, they are all obviously mad to want to pay for free stuff Though on the other hand, hopefully this means they like it enough to want more than just an mp3, plus the music will be tarted up a bit and there will be a nice cover and so on and so forth. And it might be an investment for future times (but don't count on it).

I don't mind buying it, you have to cover the costs etc. Which reminds me, my copy of Darkness Between won't play the last part(s). ... if you remember Doh! This forgetfulness is catching. I'll bring a copy to the NSC if you want That would be very nice thanks.

Well, I'm happy to say Time Zero is now complete, I recorded the last track yesterday and did the final tweaks of Tronic Pulse, Quadratic and Time Zero this afternoon. There were only minor changes required, Tronic pulse got a slight glitch edited out, Quadratic has a proper ending and Time Zero was topped and tailed to get it to fit. The running order is now: 1. Tronic Pulse 2. Beyond The Sun 3. Quadratic 4. Eos Flight 5. Time Zero 6. Chromium Total running time 73:53 As I have to print all the artwork myself, I'm doing these as simple as possible, so it's just a folded single sided cover in a plastic wallet, as per the RMI CDR releases. I'll probably do a simple CD label too.

I haven't got time to do anything fancy for this release as I've got to get them ready for Tuesday. if I new how i would consider it for the next project.

I haven't got time to do anything fancy for this release as I've got to get them ready for Tuesday. if I new how i would consider it for the next project. i use either silver or white unbranded discs, and any diy shop worth its salt should have a half decent range of enamel based spray cans - i usually pick a colour or two that ties in with the cover, and all those naff cd's you get in the papers are good for a practice, if your going subtle, use the back. i have a roll of old wall paper that i stick on the floor in the yard and line 9 in a 3x3 square, and then trying to be as direct over the cd's as possible - you dont want to shoot from the side as it reduces the risk of any getting on the read side of the cd, just start layering with a base of the lightest colour first of varying degrees at about 40xcm away, and then move in a little closer with the heavier colours. if you are concerned that the cd's are not flat, a tiny tiny tiny little bit of blue tack on the underside of see through centre of the disc will fasten it downsafe. leave to dry for 10 mins, test the disc and hey presto its much more fun than printing one out, and everyone is unique. you get a greater buzz of satisfaction when you see it in its case, and its 'mysterious looking' and a darn site cheaper, but looks quite flash, and the cans go a LONG way. all round winner i find

That sounds quite interesting, have you ever tried it with a stencil or is that getting too ambitious. Knowing my luck I'd cock it up, but I suppose it's got to be worth a go
